Privacy Policy
Bonsoki is a private bonsai journal. This policy explains what data we process, why we use it, and how you can delete it.
1. Data controller
DECADEUS is responsible for processing your data. For privacy questions, contact contact@decadeus.com.
2. Data we process
- Account: email address and user identifier when you enable cloud sync.
- Tree collection: tree names, species, styles, estimated age, location, substrate, light exposure, health, and care settings.
- Kifu and reminders: interventions, dates, observed results, reminders, and care history.
- Photos: images you choose or take in the app and add to your trees.
- Purchases: subscription status, purchase identifiers, and receipts needed to enable Premium.
- Technical data and support: device model, operating system and app versions, technical logs, and messages you send to support when needed.
Bonsoki does not sell personal data or use advertising tracking.
3. How we use data
We use this data to provide the app, save your tree collection, sync Premium data across your Apple devices, manage subscriptions, and resolve technical problems.
4. Photos and camera
Bonsoki accesses only photos you select or take within the app. It does not scan your photo library.
5. Cloud sync
Premium cloud sync uses Supabase to store tree records, kifu, reminders, and photos so you can access them on your Apple devices. If cloud sync is not enabled, your bonsai data remains local to your device.
6. Subscriptions
Apple processes subscription payments through the App Store. Bonsoki uses RevenueCat to check whether your Premium subscription is active. DECADEUS and RevenueCat do not receive your full payment card details.
7. Service providers
- Supabase — authentication, database, and cloud storage.
- RevenueCat — receipt validation and subscription status.
- Apple — app distribution, App Store payments, and subscription management.
- Vercel — hosting for decadeus.com and its technical logs.
8. Retention and deletion
Active data is kept while your account or collection exists. You can delete trees, interventions, and photos in the app. Signed-in users can delete their account and cloud backups in the app's Settings. Trees stored locally remain on the device. For assistance, email contact@decadeus.com. You must cancel any Apple subscription separately in your Apple account settings.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. We may ask for reasonable identity verification.
